Playing Catch-up [Part III] - TCPS Garden Party

[TCPS = Trinity College Photography Society]

I'm involved with TCPS not because I'm uber-duber-keen-on-photography but because the 4 committee positions are held by friends. Nevertheless, we banter (to use the term loosely) about photography and I ask them for advice on how to maximise the utility derived from Elmo (wow, I have missed writing economics essays :P).

I didn't get any proper posing shots but there are a few of me eating (as always) and playing croquet!

Croquet is a lot harder than it looks, but I blame my lack of luck on the non-flat grass :D (Does croquet actually count as a sport? :S)

Also, thanks to the TCPS committee members for organising and especially to Catherine Gu for making Gu-esque chocolate brownies. Yummmmmm!

Playing Catch-up [Part II] - It's the Final Formal

OBlog post title's inspiration: The Final Countdown.

Formal Halls ceased in Week 7 for the 2010/11 academic year :( For those of us whose exams had finished, tickets were bought within 30 minutes of going on sale cos we assumed that they would fly out of the buttery till. "Flying" turned out to be a brisk walk >.<

The only part of the menu worth photoing. The rest was aesthetically appalling!

The Boyf was a bit drunk after the Final Formal so the photos are a bit blurry (very apt). I quite like the grainy-blurry effect that is indicative of imbibing, and I shall just warn you that my expressions become a bit... ill-defined after a bit of booze.

I couldn't wait to get out of Cambridge when I was there but now that I've moved into London for the next 10 weeks, I'm starting to miss the foliage and the fresh air (not to mention all the lovely people)!

Playing Catch-up [Part I] - Linda's Birthday!

...And I thought the end of exams meant more time for blogging.

WRONG.

Incoming May Ball committee, fondly dubbed "minions", were required to do a lot of the lifting/shifting. Set-up week and clear-up week photos will come in a later catch-up post!

For Linda's birthday, we went to Wagamama's and this is what I wore! Unfortunately, most of the more "serious-posing" (as opposed to silly-posing) photos were corrupted (wah?! Bad Elmo), but the silly ones are more fun anyhow.

My final exam finished at 4.30pm and the Boyf and I had a dinner at Alimentum at 6pm. Rush rush rush!
